Back in 2009 before the inception of I.M. magazine, the founders were just like any average Malaysians trolling shopping malls, eating all the time and spending days doing absolutely nothing inspiring. They were uninspired with what was for sale on magazine racks, nothing could relate to them and had to constantly pay exorbitant prices for international magazines just to keep their brain cells alive. With similar tastes, they wanted a magazine that would speak directly to the readers, stories on interesting people, tantalizing food, inspiring places and cool ideas. With their endurance and determination, they set off to create their dream in offering Malaysians a change in the magazine landscape where stories are contributed by YOU, our readers.
With the digital space growing rapidly, they have now embarked on creating an online platform for anyone to share their stories, photographs, illustrations, ideas to like-minded people from all around the world.
Integration is key in all that they do for their clients, they believe in customizing creative integrated ideas instead of just an ordinary placement of an advertisement in the magazine. In 2011, they started an activation arm to provide support to their clients on any on-ground events and activation initiatives nationwide. Despite their busy schedules, they still enjoy the occasional travels, bingeing trips and chilling out with friends accompanied by great tunes.
