The aim of this assembly, which is this coming Sunday, was to oppose the plant by Lynas Corporation to mine rare earth. Right, wrong, don’t know or don’t care; what are your views on this matter?

Employees rejoice as EPF announced a 6% dividend for 2011, making it the highest payout in the past 10 years! But I wouldn’t advise you to rush to the nearest EPF kiosk now as many others are lining up to check theirs as well. Meanwhile, put a smile on your face as the effort you put in over the past year did not go to waste.

Adele Shows the Middle Finger at Brit Awards
Why? Because her acceptance speech was cut short due to the over running programme. Thankfully, Adele cleared it up by explaining that it was meant for the organisers, not her fans. In turn, the organisers have also issued an apology to Adele for interrupting her big moment. Glad that’s all cleared up. I know Adele wouldn’t do this to her fans.

Britney Spears as an X-Factor judge?
Last week, it was Beyonce. Now, word is that Britney Spears is keen on joining Simon Cowell and L.A Reid as a judge on X-Factor. Both Simon and L.A. are not naming any people in particular. Other big names added to the rumour mill are Janet Jackson and Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie. If it’s true, it’ll be interesting to watch if Britney can hold her own ground as a judge.
