If you're just like me and can't bake for nuts but still want to impress your friends with delicious looking cakes that is yummy at the same time, how about making them some Sandwich Cakes? No no, they're not cakes that are sandwiched between kaya or strawberry jam in case you're wondering. They are actually sandwiches made from bread and any other fresh ingredients you'd like in your sandwiches but formed into a cake. Talk about being creative!

Ok I know some of you may just feel grossed out right about now, looking at sandwiches smothered with god knows what to hold it together like a cake, but I think this is just brilliant. Beats having to bake a cake, you can still have your sandwiches look as pretty as a cake :) 

The Sandwich Cake is based on the traditional Swedish dish smorgastarta, which is basically an enormous wodge of savoury sandwich filling (smoked fish, eggs, veggies, mayo, cheese) held together with soft baked bread, which you cut and eat just like a cake.
